WASHINGTON – May 8, 2023Adlumin, the security operations platform and managed detection and response (MDR) service provider keeping mid-market organizations secure, announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company has named Adlumin’s CMO, Stephanie Broyles, to the 2023 Women of the Channel  list. Each year, CRN recognizes women from vendor, distributor, and solution provider organizations whose expertise and vision are leaving a noticeable and commendable mark on the technology industry. The CRN 2023 Women of the Channel honorees bring their creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership to a variety of roles and responsibilities, but all turn their unique talents toward driving success for their organization’s partners and customers.

“Stephanie has very quickly made an impact setting our business up for growth, and enabling our partners to grow theirs by bringing a security operations platform and services to a segment of the market that has gone underserved for too long,” said Robert Johnston, CEO and cofounder of Adlumin. “We are extremely proud to have Stephanie as an executive member of our team and to represent Adlumin in this year’s CRN Women of the Channel list.”

Adlumin’s platform and MDR services make proactive, fully-rounded security accessible to organizations and partners of all sizes. Value-added resellers and system integrators can resell and co-deliver Adlumin’s MDR services platform to the end user, along with their own value-added services. In addition, using Adlumin’s multi-tenant platform that gives services providers unmatched visibility and command across their entire customer base, MSPs and managed security service providers (MSSPs) can deliver next-generation threat monitoring and analytics to their end customers.

“We are ecstatic to announce this year’s honorees and shine a light on these women for their significant achievements, knowing that what they’ve accomplished has paved the way for continued success within the IT channel,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “The channel is stronger because of them, and we look forward to seeing what they do next.”

Stephanie’s recognition in this year’s Women of the Channel list comes on the heels of Adlumin being featured in CRN’s 2023 Partner Program Guide with 5-star rating.

Adlumin Expands Leadership Team with Promotion of Dan McQuade to Chief Technology Officer

As an Established Leader within Adlumin, McQuade Brings More Than 10 Years of Experience Building and Scaling Technology Companies to His New Role

WASHINGTON – April 25, 2023Adlumin, the security operations platform and managed detection and response (MDR) service provider keeping mid-market organizations secure, today announced the executive promotion of Dan McQuade to Chief Technology Officer. As a key member of Adlumin’s senior leadership team, McQuade will oversee the development and expansion of features and capabilities within the Adlumin Security Operations Platform.

“As a founding member of our engineering team, Dan has led Adlumin through some of its most important periods of technological growth,” said Robert Johnston, CEO and co-founder of Adlumin. “Dan has been a key contributor to building Adlumin and executing our vision to give mid-market organizations, and the service providers they rely on, a platform that includes everything they need for sophisticated cybersecurity operations. As CTO, Dan will play an even larger role in steering Adlumin’s future and the technology that provides a critical foundation for our MDR team and our trusted partners. He’s proven that he’s the right person for the job.”

With one platform and one license, Adlumin gives organizations everything they need for comprehensive security, including SIEM, vulnerability scanning, threat intelligence, UEBA threat hunting, honeypots, automated incident response and forensics, darknet exposure monitoring, compliance reporting and monitoring, and more. Adlumin’s patented, cloud-native Security Operations Platform is feature-rich enough for organizations to operate on their own yet explicitly built to amplify the skills and capabilities of managed service providers. Adlumin customers can use the platform on their own, partner with managed service providers, and utilize Adlumin’s MDR services for 24×7 human insights, threat hunting, and trusted support.

“When I joined Adlumin more than five years ago, I could sense we were creating something extraordinary,” said Dan McQuade. “Middle market organizations, such as banks, manufacturers, legal firms, healthcare institutions, schools, and various state and local governments are regularly targeted by cybercriminals and exposed to the same threats as large corporations, but they’ve struggled to effectively counter these threats due to limited resources and technology. We are now providing them with accessible tools that they can either use independently or in collaboration with the experts on our managed security services team. Every morning I wake up excited to work with the amazing team that we’ve assembled as we continue to grow and evolve the Adlumin platform.”

McQuade most recently served as Vice President of Engineering at Adlumin. He managed the deployment of core functionality within Adlumin’s Security Operations Platform and oversaw all aspects of the company’s cloud infrastructure. Among his many contributions to the platform, McQuade wrote the Adlumin Syslog collector application, developed the platform’s threat intelligence functionality, and created its highly-scalable multi-tenant architecture. Dan has worked in the technology/startup space for more than a decade and has been with Adlumin since 2018. He holds a BA from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing an MS in Information Security Engineering from The SANS Technology Institute.

The Adlumin platform is purpose-built to extend the skills and capabilities of service providers, and its multi-tenancy has been a key component of achieving that mission. It gives service providers unmatched visibility across their customer base so they can monitor emerging threats and take action without the need to traverse different environments.

Adlumin announced and will demo the most recent enhancements to its security operations platform at RSA Conference 2023, April 24-27, 2023, in San Francisco, California. Adlumin Wins Global InfoSec Award at RSA Conference 2023

Adlumin Wins Managed Detection and Response (MDR) award in 11th Annual Global InfoSec Awards at #RSAC2023

WASHINGTON – April 24, 2023 – Adlumin, the security operations platform and managed detection and response (MDR) service provider keeping mid-market organizations secure, today announced it has won a Global InfoSec Award in the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) category from Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), a premier source of cyber security news and information for InfoSec professionals in business and government.

Adlumin’s security operations platform gives organizations of all sizes the capabilities of a sophisticated security operations center (SOC), including threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, darknet exposure monitoring, compliance support and much more. The platform is built specifically to amplify the skills and capabilities of managed service providers – and is the cornerstone of Adlumin’s MDR services – but is also feature-rich enough for organizations to operate on their own. With full access to the platform regardless of whether they are running it themselves or relying on Adlumin’s MDR services or expert partners, Adlumin gives organizations unparalleled visibility into their security posture through access to alerts, investigation data, threat intelligence, compliance reporting and everything else – all in real time.

“On the heels of announcing significant enhancements to our security operations platform at RSA conference, we’re excited to receive this prestigious and coveted cybersecurity award,” said Robert Johnston, CEO of Adlumin. “As an independent cybersecurity news and information provider, receiving this award from Cyber Defense Magazine is a testament to the hard work our team continues to invest in delivering a platform and services that are bringing enterprise-grade security to organizations of all sizes.”

This is Cyber Defense Magazine’s eleventh year of honoring infosec innovators from around the globe. Global InfoSec Awards are judged by CISSP, FMDHS, and CEH certified security professionals who vote based on their independent review of company-submitted materials for each nomination, information including but not limited to data sheets, white papers, and product literature, and other market variables.

“Adlumin embodies three major features we judges look for to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution and innovating in unexpected ways that can help mitigate cyber risk and get one step ahead of the next breach,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.

Adlumin will demonstrate its platform’s capabilities and new features at RSA Conference 2023, April 24-27, 2023, in San Francisco, California.
